Monday March 24, 2014
1:15pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller near Papa Gino’s reported that he/she saw a group of kids drop a white powdery substance into the trash. The Police responded. The items were located in a plastic bag and given to an officer to determine its contents.
2:26pm ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller on Taylor Road reported that a stop sign was knocked over. The Highway Department was notified.
3:59pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A walk-in reported that her car was stuck in the mud at Small Farm. A passer-by gave her a ride to the station. An officer contacted AAA.
5:45pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from Common Road reported that a suspicious man approached her on Library Hill and repeatedly asked her if she was ok. The incident happened 2 days prior to her phone call. The information was logged.

8:08am ANIMAL
A caller on Red Acre Road reported that she was bitten by a “pit bull type” dog. The Animal Control Officer was notified.
12:47pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from the Fire Academy requested an ambulance for a recruit with chest pain. An ambulance transported the individual to the hospital.
2:17pm FRAUD
A walk-in reported that an unknown individual stole his personal information to open a credit card. The information was logged.
5:54pm WELL BEING CHECK
A caller from West Acton Road requested a well being check on a friend who was intoxicated and emotional. The Police responded. An ambulance transported individual to the hospital.

4:37pm FOUND
A walk-in reported that she found a license and debit card near a sidewalk on Great Road. An officer contacted the owner.
6:05pm ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller on Boxboro Road reported that a hanging wire was blowing around. The Police responded. The wire was placed on the side of the road.
6:50pm ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
As caller on Sudbury Road reported that a small tree was leaning on some wires. The Police responded. A large branch was interfering with the wires. There was no arcing or fire and electricity was still on. Hudson Light and Power was notified.
7:44pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from Pompositticut Street reported hearing a loud bang. She was not sure what it was. The Police responded to check the area. A large green barrel was located, blown over by the wind, in the road.
9:47pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from Whitney Road reported hearing gunshots. The Police responded to check the area. The lids of the dumpsters at Pompositticut School were flapping in the wind and banging the sides. Nothing else was found.
11:20pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A walk-in requested to speak with an officer regarding her teenager who did not return home after going to the gym. An officer advised the woman.

8:19am SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from Gleasondale Road reported that someone in a grey Honda was taking pictures of her home. The Police responded to check the area. No one was located.
4:26pm ANIMAL
A caller from Harvard Road reported that her white and apricot color cat, with a striped tail, ran outside and had not returned. The Animal Control Officer was notified.
5:15pm FOUND
A walk-in reported that he found a woman’s wallet in Concord. An officer contacted the owner.
6:59pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller at the Stow Shopping Plaza reported that a man was letting air out of her tires. The Police responded. No one was located.

12:28pm ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller on Hillcrest Avenue reported a large hole in the area. The Police responded to check the area. A large, deep hole was located near a drain. A cone was placed on it for safety. The Highway Department was notified.
8:15pm FIRE/ALARM
A caller near the vacant Beef and Ale building reported a loud audible and visual alarm. The Police and Fire Departments responded. Water was located in the actual alarm, caused by a leaking roof. The alarm was disabled and the owner was notified.

8:10am ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller from Barton Road reported that a kayaker appeared to need assistance. He was paddling but not getting anywhere. The police responded. The man was towing a dock, which took time to cross the basin. All was OK.
3:56pm ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller on Hudson Road reported that a tree was down on the road. The Police responded. Branches were located in the road. They were removed.
4:49pm ARREST
Ricardo Alves, 25, from Hudson, was arrested for driving without a license and on a warrant.
