Cam Donahue took advantage of the family’s melted ice rink to do some backyard kayaking. Stow frequent traveler Bob Cooke introduces the Stow Independent to the “pillar of shame” in Kotor, Montenegro. The pillar is a “punishment post” where transgressors were required to stand as a public sign of guilt. Cooke admits no faults, intended or not, but had a great time on a trip visiting Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro, Albania and Greece. Ten friends also went along on the small ship adventure, including Stow residents Jan and Ted Carvalho, who also admit neither guilt nor shame. Emma Burr-Nyberg, Blake Korn, and Christina Bebernitz meet up in Copenhagen, Denmark while studying abroad in the fall of 2013. All are 2011 graduates of Nashoba Regional.
