Monday June 2, 2014
2:42am SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from Timberedge Road reported that there was a car with its parking lights on parked at the end of the road. The Police responded. The driver was spoken to and continued on.
5:47am MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from High Street requested an ambulance for a woman who fell and possibly broke her hip. The Police and Fire/Rescue responded. An ambulance transported the woman to the hospital.
7:36am SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A walk-in reported that a pocketbook, with a shawl and sweatshirt over it, was left on the sidewalk. An officer checked the area. The pocketbook was located. Nothing was inside. It appeared that the items had been discarded.
2:44pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A walk-in requested to speak with an officer regarding an article about how to fly the American flag. An officer advised the individual.
4:54pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A walk-in requested to speak with an officer regarding an identity theft issue. An officer advised the individual.
6:18pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
An officer reported that he stopped a man on bicycle who had an open container. The container was confiscated and the man continued on his way.

7:58am ACCIDENT
Several callers on West Acton Road reported a roll over car accident. The Police and Fire/Rescue responded. An ambulance transported one individual to the hospital.
9:20am COMPLAINT
A caller from West Acton Road reported that a tree company was on his lawn and caused damage to the grass. The company did not belong at his residence. The Police responded.
9:44am MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller at the Post Office reported that a woman fell in the parking lot. The Police and Fire/Rescue responded. The ambulance transported the woman to the hospital.
10:05am MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Meeting House Lane requested an ambulance for a woman who did not feel well. The Police and Fire/Rescue responded and transported the woman to the hospital.
12:45pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Sudbury Road requested an ambulance for a man who had difficulty breathing. The Police and Fire/Rescue responded and transported the man to the hospital.
1:04pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller reported that while he was riding his bike on Sudbury Road, he was hit by a car. The driver looked at him and then left the scene. The caller felt fine, however, he did have a “road rash.” He wanted the information logged.
1:54pm COMPLAINT
A lifeguard at the town beach reported that a group of kids were at the dog beach and refused to leave. The Police responded. The kids were sent on their way.
2:25pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from West Acton Road requested an ambulance because he/she had a dislocated hip. The Police and Fire/Rescue responded. The ambulance transported the individual to the hospital.
3:31pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A young teenager reported that he forgot to lock the front door in the morning when he left for school. When he arrived home, he heard sounds coming from the attic. The Police responded to check the home. Nothing was found. All was OK.

11:15am SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller at the boat ramp on White Pond Road complained that someone left debris and flagged off the entrance. The police responded. The boat ramp and surrounding area was clear of any debris.
2:42pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from Edgehill Road reported that she heard a woman screaming, and then heard a car leave the area at a high speed. The Police responded to check the area. Nothing was found.
4:04pm ASSIST OTHER AGENCY
The Maynard Police Department requested that Stow be on the lookout for a van that was involved in a hit and run at Wendy’s. The Stow Police responded to the town line. The van passed by and was stopped. There was damage to the side of the car but it was old damage. The driver was sent on his way.
5:18pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller from Harvard Road reported that someone went onto her property and was digging holes. The Police responded.

11:20am ASSIST CITIZEN
A walk-in requested information about an individual who she believed had a criminal record. An officer advised the woman that personal information was not given out to just anyone without having a legitimate criminal justice purpose. The woman felt that the person she was inquiring about was a trouble maker and she had the right to request information. An officer then requested her identification. The woman refused to show an ID. She was asked to leave the building.
11:31am ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller from White Pond Road reported that she was having an issue with a person she leased land from. An officer advised the caller that the situation was a civil matter and the police could not assist her.

8:30am ANIMAL
A caller at the Heath Hen Conservation Trails reported that three women were walking with unleashed dogs. Two of the dogs were aggressive toward him and his dog. The Animal Control Officer was notified.
12:40pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller from Elm Ridge Road requested information about obtaining a restraining order. An officer advised the man.
1:06pm FOUND
An employee from Stow Brook Gulf reported that a purse was found at the pumps. The owner was found and contacted. All was OK.
Saturday June 7, 2014
9:24am ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller from Taylor Road reported that they were having a party and many cars would be parking along the road. An officer advised the caller to be sure all the cars were parked on one side and there was a clear lane for emergency vehicles to pass.
9:30am ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller from Barton Road reported that two moving trucks would be parked along the road. An officer advised the caller to be sure the trucks were moved as far over as possible to allow emergency vehicles to pass.
11:44am BOAT PATROL
A caller from Lake Boon reported there was loud music playing on a boat in the lake. The Lake Patrol intercepted the boat and spoke with the owner. The music was lowered. All was OK.
3:23pm GENERAL
An officer observed people on the beach taking the kayaks and small boats out on the lake. He made a note to contact the Recreation Department to be sure they had permission.

12:13am COMPLAINT
A caller from Warren Road reported that people were outside working on a car with air compressors. There was a lot of noise. The Police responded. All individuals were advised.
12:23am COMPLAINT
A caller from Crescent Street reported hearing loud music in the area. The Police responded. The music was coming from the Stowaway Inn, which had a graduation party going on. The party was ending and clean up began. All was OK.
8:53am COMPLAINT
A caller reported that three youths were riding motor bikes in the town forest. The Police responded to check the area. No one was located.
9:33am MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Maple Street requested an ambulance for a man who fell off a ladder and hit his head. The Police and Fire/Rescue responded. An ambulance transported the man to the hospital.
4:37pm ARREST
Jeffrey Downs, 38, from Stow, was arrested for a warrant.
7:03pm ARREST
Emilio Sanchez, 24, from Stow, was arrested for assault and battery.
10:51pm ALARM
An alarm sounded at Stow Brook Gulf. The Police responded. Someone attempted to use a credit card at the pump when the station was closed.
11:09pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller on South Acton Road reported that while his vehicle was being towed to Leominster, he told the driver he did not have any cash to pay for the tow. The driver kicked him out of the car. An officer responded to pick up the caller. He was brought to the station to make a phone call.
