Monday September 1, 2014
2:11am COMPLAINT
A caller from Lantern Lane reported hearing screeching tires and then a loud bang. The Police responded to check the area. Nothing was found.
7:42am MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Hudson Road requested an ambulance for a man who may have had a stroke. The Police and Fire/Rescue responded and transported the man to the hospital.
12:32pm ANIMAL
A caller at Apple Country Animal Hospital reported that his dog was not breathing. The Police tried to contact Apple Country and Acton Animal Emergency however both were closed. The Westford Emergency Animal Hospital was contacted and responded.
5:32pm LARCENY
A walk-in reported that someone broke into his car the night before. An officer advised the individual.

12:20pm ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller from Taylor Road reported that a tree was on some wires. The Police and Hudson Light and Power responded.
3:39pm ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller at the Stow Shopping Plaza reported that the entrance was flooded. The Police responded to check the area.
3:48pm ANIMAL
A caller from Wedgewood Pine Country Club reported that a lost dog was at the main door. The Police contacted the dog’s owner. All was OK.
6:08pm COMPLAINT
A caller from Wheeler Road reported that someone claiming to be from the IRS told her she needed to pay $25 within the half hour. If she didn’t, she would be arrested. An officer advised the woman.

2:49pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller from Birch Hill Road reported that someone claiming to be from the Treasury requested her personal information for a class action suit against her. The Police responded.
Thursday September 4, 2014
2:27am FIRE
A caller at Kids-A-Lot on Red Acre Road reported that a fire alarm was sounding. The Police and Fire responded. There was smoke coming from one of the outside buildings. The Stow Fire Department requested assistance from Acton and Maynard Fire.
9:04am ANIMAL
Multiple callers on Great Road, near the Bolton line, reported that a dog was running in and out of traffic. The Police responded to check the area. The dog was located and secured. The Animal Control Officer notified the owner.
10:33am ANIMAL
A caller on Boxboro Road reported that a horse was in a yard across the street from its pen. The Animal Control Officer was notified.
7:22pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller at the Apple Country Animal Hospital reported that a man there felt dizzy. The Police and Fire/Rescue responded. The ambulance transported to the man to the hospital.
8:10pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Hiley Brook Road requested an ambulance for a woman who injured her shoulder. The Police and Fire/Rescue responded. The woman was transported to the hospital.
8:23pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller from Harvard Road requested to speak with an officer regarding harassing text messages he had been receiving. An officer advised the man.
9:15pm ANIMAL
A caller from Great Road reported that there was a skunk in her garage. The Animal Control Officer was notified.

10:53am BURGLARY
A caller from Warren Road reported that someone tried to force open her car door the previous night with a pry bar. An officer advised the woman. A report was filed.
1:32pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A walk-in requested assistance with filing a complaint. An officer assisted the individual.
1:51pm ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller on Great Road reported that a gray Ford Escape was weaving all over the road and speeding. The Police responded. The car was located. The individual was advised.
2:09pm COMPLAINT
A caller on Militia Circle reported that there has been trash in the traffic island for a long time. The Police responded.
Saturday September 6, 2014
9:06am FIRE
A commercial fire at ET&L Construction Corporation was reported by an alarm company. The Police and Fire/Rescue responded. A moment later, they were called off. The smoke was caused by burnt toast. All was OK.
1:36pm ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A walk-in reported that she had a verbal confrontation with a truck driver who was transporting a tank into the Collings Foundation. She reported that she was not able to get around the truck. The Police responded.
6:02pm ANIMAL
A caller from Farm Road reported that she found a lost dog. The Animal Control Officer was notified.
7:27pm ARREST
Christopher Edling, 40, from Stow, was arrested on a warrant.

7:04am ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller on South Acton Road reported that a telephone pole was leaning into the road. The Police responded. Hudson Light and Power was notified.
4:45pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller on Great Road requested assistance with an aggressive older child in the car. The Police responded. The individual was advised and agreed to follow the parent’s house rules.
