Monday November 3, 2014
5:06pm FIRE
A walk-in reported that there was a strong odor of natural gas at the Stow Plaza, near the bank.  The Police and Fire Department responded.  NStar was contacted and responded.  The odor was due to sewer gas.
6:53pm FIRE
A caller from Brookmill Road reported the smell of gas in her home.  The Police and Fire Department responded.  NStar was contacted and responded.

2:08pm COMPLAINT
A caller from Gleasondale Road reported that someone took a political sign from his yard.
2:29pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller near Minister’s Pond, on Crescent Street, reported that two men were in her backyard.  The Police responded to check the area.  No one was located.
2:57pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Warren Road requested an ambulance for a woman who fell and injured her back.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  The ambulance transported the woman to the hospital.
7:21pm FOUND
An officer at one of the voting polls found a driver’s license.  A message was left for the owner.

7:30am ASSIST CITIZEN
A walk-in requested to speak with an officer about discarding a small amount of very old bullets.  An officer assisted the individual.
9:20am ANIMAL
A caller on Whitman Street reported that two very large dogs looked lost and hungry.  The Animal Control Officer was notified and responded.
10:41am COMPLAINT
A walk-in brought in a full trash bag that was left on his lawn.  It contained empty prescription bottles.  An officer attempted to call the “owner” of the trash without success.
11:03am ANIMAL
A caller on Lakewood Drive reported that two sheep were on a non-fenced lawn.  The Police responded.  The sheep were reunited with their owner.  All was OK.
11:49am MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Taylor Road requested an ambulance for a woman who had severe abdominal pain.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  An ambulance transported the woman to the hospital.
1:44pm ANIMAL
A caller on Hudson Road reported that a Husky dog was running along the road.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.
6:23pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller from Middlemost Way reported that she received a phone call from someone claiming to have her brother as a hostage.  If she gave money her brother would be released.  An officer advised the caller that this was a scam.

5:16pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from Marlboro Road reported that he/she received multiple IRS scam phone calls.  The information was logged.
5:55pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller on Great Road reported that a vehicle was swerving and weaving on the road.  The Police responded.  The vehicle was stopped.  Warren Davis, 45, from Bedford, NY, was arrested for reckless operation of a vehicle.
6:30pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from Red Acre Road reported that a piece of his mail had been ripped open and left in his mailbox.  He was unsure if it was delivered that way.  The information was logged.

6:52am MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller requested an ambulance for a man whose pacemaker went off.  He then fell to the ground.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  The ambulance transported the man to the hospital.
12:42pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller at Stow Brook Gulf reported that a man was walking around D&D Farms.  When the property owner spoke to the man he replied with explicit language.  The Police responded to check the area.
5:25pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Taylor Road requested an ambulance because he had stomach issues.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  An ambulance transported the man to the hospital.

8:46am MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Taylor Road requested an ambulance because he felt pressure in his chest.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  The ambulance transported the man to the hospital.
8:54am ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller requested assistance with finding a shelter for him and his service dog.  An officer assisted the man.
3:28pm ANIMAL
A caller on Sudbury Road reported a loose dog, with a collar and tags, running down the trail next to the bridge.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.
8:26pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller from Johnston Way reported that a flashing news bar, which was not related to the program she was watching, appeared at the bottom of her television screen.  She was concerned.  An officer advised the caller the news bar was a TV ad.
