Thursday Nights Cruise-in/Fly-in Nights in Stow
In cooperation with EAA #196, Friends of Minute Man Air Field, and Nancy’s at the Airfield café, the Rotary Clubs of Nashoba Valley, Acton-Boxborough, and Maynard are holding their fourth annual Wings & Wheels program, a summer-long cruise-in/fly-in event at the Minute Man Air Field (302 Boxboro Road) in Stow, MA. The event runs on Thursday nights from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, June 2 and ending August 25.
Each week features different makes of cars; however, all cars are welcome to cruise to the air field every week. The event also features a fly-in for airplanes. Fun for the whole family, the public is invited to attend to see the cars and airplanes on display. Leashed pets are allowed. The event also features great food, including wood-fired pizza, burgers, and hot dogs from the award-winning Nancy’s at the Airfield, as well as popcorn, lemonade, and libations. News this year: an online ordering system with a credit card payment option!
Admission is free with donations requested. Proceeds will benefit local and international Rotary service projects, such as local scholarships and high school programs, senior citizen projects, and international health and relief programs.

Until August 17, Randall Library Summer Reading Olympics for Kids— Filled with fun activities and prizes, the Randall Library Summer Reading Olympics is a great way for kids to have fun reading and listening to books all summer long.
Until August 17, Randall Library Adult Summer Reading Bingo Contest—Back by popular demand, the Randall Library has summer fun for adults with the Summer Reading Bingo Contest. If you are 21 years old or older come play along by signing up and picking up a Bingo Card at the circulation desk. Don’t let the kids have all the fun this summer!
SUMMER at MINUTEMAN COMMUNITY EDUCATION
Summer is a great time for taking educational programs for fun, professional development, physical fitness, standardized test preparation, or to acquire skills that will enhance success in school. Minuteman Community Education, at Minuteman High School in Lexington, is the place to pursue those interests and many others during the upcoming weeks, thanks to a diverse slate of programs and activities designed for a wide range of ages. Check out www.MinutemanCE.org for classes such as cake decorating, woodworking Wicked Cool Med School, Minecraft Mania, and more. All classes meet from 8:30 to 11:30am or from 12noon to 3pm, unless otherwise specified.

Human Right to Water Sunday Service at FPC
A Sunday service on the human right to water will be led by Marcia Whitehead on July 24 at 10am at First Parish Church of Stow & Acton (FPC). Whitehead is development director at Corporate Accountability International, a non-profit whose mission is to stop life-threatening abuses by global corporations and increase those corporations’ accountability to public institutions and people around the world. The service will be held in FPC’s Community Room. Sanghee Kim will provide music. FPC is located at 353 Great Rd. Its facilities are wheelchair accessible.
Guest Table Community Supper
Guest Table, a community supper in Stow, serves dinner from on the first Friday of each month at First Parish Church of Stow & Acton (FPC). Guest Table welcomes everyone, in or out of Stow, whether they’re looking for a sense of community, are feeling lonely, are having financial difficulties, or just want a change of atmosphere. There’s no charge for dinner, but donations are gratefully accepted. Dinners will be nut free, with gluten-free and dairy-free options available. The next meal will be offered on Aug. 5 from 5:30 to 6:30pm at FPC’s Fellowship Hall. FPC is located at 353 Great Rd. Its facilities are wheelchair accessible. Plans have been made for the next Hale High School Reunion, which will be held on Sunday, Sept. 25, at the Holiday In,, Rt. 111, in Boxborough. Reservations will be required.
