Laura Diamond went to Tucson AZ to be a Lab Assistant for the CAPTCC – Certificate in Aquatic Physical Therapy Clinical Competency course sponsored by the American Physical Therapy Association – Aquatic Section. Moms Leah Bruosta, Clara Cole and Adrienne Hatch wrote to say, “We have been in swim lessons at Lake Boon for maybe 5 years now and each year I love (and my kids love) the lifeguards more and more! The day before this picture was taken, the rainiest day of summer, Elena, Alexis and Eagan showed up with smiles to hop in the water with Ibbie Bruosta and Olivia Cole. Their dedication and inspiration have made our kids better swimmers and happy in the water. A big thank you to Laura Greenough and the Stow Rec Department for providing these lessons and the energetic lifeguards who carried them out!Pictured are Jay Bruosta (swim lesson onlooker and future participant) Noah, Austin Slattery, Elena, Eagan, Alexis, Ibbie Bruosta, Abby and Collin Hatch.
