True / False? Unenrolled (aka Independent) voters MAY participate in State Primary Elections.
True! EVERY Massachusetts voter (registered by August 24th at 5pm) is eligible to vote in State Primaries. This includes Democrats, Libertarians, Republicans AND voters registered as Unenrolled (aka Independent) or in a Political Designation (ex Green-rainbow).

Tip #1: Voters enrolled in a Party may ONLY vote that ballot in a Primary Election.
Democrats may only vote the Democratic ballot
Libertarians may only vote the Libertarian ballot
Republicans may only vote the Republican ballot.

Tip #2: Unenrolled (aka Independent) & Political Designation voters may choose one of the 3 Party ballots. Doing so will NOT enroll the voter in that Party, they will remain Unenrolled or in their Political Designation after the Primary Election is over.

Tip #3: Still have questions about what ballot your eligible for? The chart at this link might help:
