Monday July 29, 2024

7:43pm ANIMAL
A caller from Hudson Road reported that he saw a bear in his yard. The bear then returned to the woods.  The Police responded to check the area.

9:50pm ANIMAL
A caller on Boxboro Road reported that two cows were in the road.  The Police responded.  The cows were reunited with their owner.

Tuesday July 30, 2024

1:10am SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY

An officer spoke with an individual who was walking along Great Road.  The man was simply out for a walk.  All was OK.

1:18am ANIMAL
A caller from Laws Lane reported that a large black bear was feeding on bird seed.  He took the feeder down.  The information was logged.

5:29am MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Dunster Drive requested an ambulance for a woman who was unresponsive.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  The woman was transported to the hospital.

6:10am SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY

A caller from Boxboro Road reported that an unattended car was outside his home.  The Police responded.  The owner of the car had pulled over to search for an animal.

6:40am MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Great Road requested a lift assist for a man who fell in the bathroom.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  The man was assisted and was transported to the hospital via ambulance.

3:01pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
An officer observed a suspicious individual near the bark mulch pile in the Shaw’s parking lot.  The man was landscaping.  All was OK.

5:37pm COMPLAINT
A caller at the Stow Plaza reported that a man was panhandling.  The Police responded.

7:05am MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller at Nan’s Market on Great Road reported that a man was in and out of consciousness.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  The man was transported to the hospital.

10:39am ASSIST CITIZEN
A walk-in requested to speak with an officer regarding an issue with his daughter and grandchildren. An officer advised the man. 

12:56pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY

A caller from the Fire Academy requested an ambulance for a man who was dizzy.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  The man was transported to the hospital.

9:28pm FIRE
A walk-in reported that a utility pole, on Great Road, was on fire.  The Fire Department responded.

Hudson Light and Power was notified.

Thursday August 1, 2024

6:10am FOUND
A walk-in found a social security card at Maynard Enterprise.  The owner was identified and retrieved the card.

7:58pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY

A caller from Lowell Drive requested an ambulance for a man who had a seizure.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  The man was transported to the hospital.

10:45am ANIMAL

A caller on West Acton Road reported that an aggressive quail was in the road. The Animal Control Officer was notified.

11:36am ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller from White Pond Road reported that someone was flying a drone over his house.  An officer advised the man.  The information was logged.

1:10pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller from Red Acre Road reported that she received a phony phone call.  The information was logged.

5:23pm ANIMAL
A caller from Taylor Road reported that a fox was in the road.  The Police responded to check the area.  The fox was not seen.

7:39pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY

Radant Technologies on Hudson Road reported that the security camera saw two men on the property.  No one was given permission to be on the property.  The Police responded.  The men were not seen.

Friday August 2, 2024

8:47am SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY

A caller on Maple Street reported that woman was outside of her car, walking around it and talking to herself.  The Police responded.  A medical evaluation was requested.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  The woman was picked up by a family member.  The incident was logged.

10:36am ARREST
A caller from West Acton Road reported that a friend assaulted him and her mother.  The Police responded.  An arrest was made.  The woman was transported to the hospital for an evaluation.

3:50pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Red Acre Road reported that she had abdominal pain.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  The woman was transported to the hospital.

5:26pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A walk-in requested to speak with an officer regarding filing a report.  Her son engaged in an altercation with another individual in Stow.  An officer advised the woman.

7:25pm FRAUD
A caller reported that her credit information was comprised.  An officer advised the woman.

Saturday August 3, 2024

8:38am ASSIST CITIZEN

A caller on Lantern Lane reported that a beeping sound was coming from a tree in the area.  The Police responded.

8:43am ASSIST CITIZEN

An officer located a beeping smoke alarm, near Baldwin Drive, which was the cause of the sound reported from the previous call. 

9:31am ANIMAL
A caller from Gleasondale Road reported that a bird fell out of a tree.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.

1:47pm ASSIST CITIZEN

A walk-in requested to speak with an officer regarding their car that was stuck.  An officer advised the individual.

1:59pm TREE

A caller on South Acton Road reported that a tree was down.  The Highway Department removed the small tree.

5:01pm ASSIST CITIZEN

A caller at Lake Boon reported that people were using a grill.  They did not have a permit to use the grill and were asked to leave the area.  The Police responded.

5:23pm ALARM

A burglar alarm sounded at Citizen’s Bank.  The Police responded.  The door had been tampered with.  The keyholder was contacted to disable the alarm.

10:53pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY

A caller from Pompositticut Street reported that a man fell and hit his head.  He was confused.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  The man was transported to the hospital.

Sunday August 4, 2024

4:43am ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller on Red Acre Road reported hearing a screeching sound and a bang.  The Police responded.  Nothing was seen or heard.

3:49pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Hastings Street requested an ambulance for an unknown medical issue.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  A woman was transported to the hospital.

6:34pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
The Stow Police and Fire/Rescue responded to Turner Road in Maynard.  A man, who fell and was knocked out, was transported to the hospital via the ambulance.

7:07pm ASSIST OTHER AGENCY
The Boxborough Police requested assistance with locating an individual.  A moment later, the call was cancelled.  The party had been found.
