Stow Solar Seminar
A Solar Seminar will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 21 at Stow Town Hall, 380 Great Road, Stow, for local residents and businesses interested in learning more about solar energy in general and Stow Solar Challenge discounts in particular. At the seminar, representatives will discuss solar energy and the specifics of the Stow Solar Challenge, and answer questions. Admission is free. The Stow Solar Challenge is being driven by the Stow Energy Working Group and local volunteers, with the endorsement of the town selectmen.

“Living Grateful Lives,” A Vesper Service
On Thursday, November 21st at 6:45 pm, The First Parish Church of Stow and Acton will celebrate the bounty of the harvest and give thanks for the many blessings bestowed upon us.  We will also explore how we can live “grateful lives” even in times of struggle.  Our vesper service will be led by The Rev. Friendship Dinner at the Union Church of Stow *Corrected Date*
Please join us 5PM to 6:30PM Friday Nov 22. Menus change monthly. We promise that the meal will always be nutritious, delicious, filling & that tempting desserts will be offered. There’s no reason to eat alone when you can join us for friendly company. Whether you are new in town or have been here a while, you are invited. Come alone or bring your family. Royal Scottish Country Dance Society Class
The Stow class of the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society will take place on Friday, November 22nd at the Stow Town Hall.  Scottish Country Dancing is the much older version of our Contra Dancing and is quite social.  Partners are not needed.  Soft-soled shoes are recommended.  There will be a Children’s Class beginning at 6:30 pm and and Adult/Teen Beginner’s Class at 7:15.  Social Dancing begins at 8:00.  All are welcome.

Shakespeare Coming To Bolton
The NRHS Drama Society is proud to announce their fall play, William Shakespeare’s  “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.”  One of Shakespeare’s most beloved whimsical comedies, it tells of the events surrounding the marriage of the Duke of Athens, Theseus, and Hippolyta.  Our large cast portrays the adventures of four young lovers and a group of six amateur actors who are enchanted then manipulated by the fairies that inhabit the nearby forest. This is Shakespeare with an exciting twist! Publishing Networking Group Meeting
Saturday, November 23, 10:30 a.m., Randall Library, 19 Crescent St., Stow. Guest Speaker: Computer Geek Charlie Hoover. Charlie Hoover (charliehoover.com) has been roaming the Boston area for over a decade now helping people from all walks of life with their technology needs. At BTC he specializes in teaching and troubleshooting everything from PCs and Macs to Smartphones and Servers. Sounds of Stow Chorus and Orchestra Program of Russian Music
The Sounds of Stow Chorus and Orchestra will open its 35th season with an exciting program of Russian choral/orchestral works: Rachmaninoff’s second piano concerto, Gretchaninoff’s “Hvalite Boga,” and Borodin’s “Polovtsian Dances,” at 3:00 pm Sunday, November 24 at the Hale Middle School in Stow. 7th Annual Stow Gobbler 5K Run/Walk
Please consider running, walking, or volunteering in the 7th Annual Stow Gobbler 5K. The race will take place this Thanksgiving morning (November 28th), beginning at Stow Community Park and ending at Bose in Stow. Supported by Stow Recreation, this event will donate all proceeds to Habitat for Humanity and the Stow Community Chest. Please consider supporting this event by running, walking, or volunteering this Thanksgiving at 8 am. Early check-in and race registration will be held from 2-4 pm on Wednesday, November 27th. Registration can also be done at 6:30am on race day. The Stow Garden Club invites you to carry on the tradition of bringing greenery into the house during the dreary days of winter to brighten up your life. Club members are busily creating Decorated Boxwood Trees, Kissing Balls, Beautiful Wreaths, Center pieces, Swags and various table and home designs.  Traditional or Contemporary, Rustic or Sparkling. Breakfast with Santa
Breakfast with Santa will celebrate it’s. 30th year on Saturday Dec 7,  9-11:00 AM at St Isidore’s Church. Route 117 in Stow. We will be featuring our Silent Auction, which includes a Bose Wave Radio III, Golf packages from local golf clubs, Chiropractor gift  packages, wine, Chocolates from Lindt, etc. We also have a White Elephant with great bargains, face painting, Usborne books for sale , pictures with the Real Santa for a small fee, Thumkins with Patty Selin, and the Breakfast. Holiday Decoration Sale
The Stow Friends of the Council on Aging is conducting the annual sale of donated Christmas decorations on Saturday, December 7.  at the Council on Aging Friendship Room from 9 am to 1 pm in the lower level of the town building. Come early and pick out the good treasures at bargain prices. This is a great opportunity to get like new items to decorate your home for the holidays and help the Seniors of Stow at the same time.

New Book Club Meeting
The next meeting of the New Book Club will be on Tuesday, December 17 at 7PM at the library. We’ll discuss The 100-Year-Old-Man Who Climbed Out the Window by Jonas Jonasson.
