Monday November 24, 2014
8:48am FIRE
The Highway Department reported that a large limb fell onto a home on White Pond Road.  The Fire Department responded.

9:01am ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller from Old Bolton Road reported that it appeared someone tried to get into his home by tampering with the lock.  The Police responded.  The area was secured.  The information was logged.

9:02am    ANIMAL
Multiple callers reported that a goose had been shot on Whitman Street.  It was still alive. The Animal Control Officer responded.  The goose was taken to an animal hospital.

10:20am FIRE
A caller from West Acton Road reported that she smelled oil in her home.  The Fire Department responded.    The oil burner was shut down.

6:09pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from Barton Road reported that an empty canoe was found outside his home.  The Police responded to check the area.  No one was located.

Tuesday November 24, 2014
12:04am ANIMAL
A walk-in reported that he saw a large bobcat on Gleasondale Road.  An officer advised the man.  The information was passed onto the Massachusetts Environmental Police.

9:16am MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Meeting House Lane requested an ambulance for a woman who was bleeding.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  An ambulance transported the woman to the hospital.

5:06pm ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller on Sudbury Road reported that a man was blowing pine needles into the road.  He was wearing dark clothing and was very hard to see.  The Police responded.  The man was advised.

5:29pm COMPLAINT
A caller from Forest Road complained about a neighbor leaf blowing.  He questioned if there was a noise by-law.  An officer advised the caller that there was no specific noise law for leaf blowing.

9:28pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Gleasondale Road requested an ambulance for a man who had a possible stroke.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  The  ambulance transported the man to the hospital.

Wednesday November 26, 2014
2:22am MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Carriage Lane requested an ambulance for a man who had difficulty breathing. The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  The ambulance transported the man to the hospital.

11:04am ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller from Grove Hill Road reported that she was concerned for some children in the neighborhood.  The Police responded.  The children were fine.

9:38pm ASSIST OTHER AGENCY
The Maynard Police requested assistance with locating a hit and run vehicle.  The Stow Police responded to assist.

9:41pm GENERAL INFO
Multiple callers from Lake Boon and the surrounding areas reported power outages.  The Police responded.   Hudson Light and Power were notified.

Thursday November 27, 2014
8:51am FIRE
A caller from Packard Road reported that a pole fell and the phone or cable wires were blocking her driveway.  The Fire Department responded.  Verizon was notified.

2:52pm COMPLAINT
The Maynard Police reported that they received reports of 10-12 gunshots in the Stow area.  The Stow Police responded to check the area.

11:22pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from Elaine Avenue reported that someone tailgated him until he reached his driveway.  He was concerned the car might return.  An officer advised the caller.

Friday November 28, 2014
12:35am ANIMAL
A caller from Kirkland Road reported that her elderly neighbor’s dog had been barking for a while.  She was concerned for her neighbor because the dog was not usually out for so long.  The Police responded.  Contact with the owner was made.  She was OK.

7:57am FIRE
The Fire Department reported that a water tank ruptured in a basement on Taylor Road.  The water was shut off.

4:27pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A contractor at a home on Kirkland Road reported that two men trying to sell pest control appeared suspicious.  The van they were driving only had the word Waltham on it.  An officer advised the caller.

10:14pm ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller from Barton Road reported that he was almost hit by a driver who ran a red light.  The Police responded. The owner was located. She explained that the incident did not occur.

11:12pm ASSIST CITIZEN
The Boxborough Police requested assistance with locating a man who reportedly tried to abduct a woman.  The Stow Police assisted with the search.

Saturday November 29, 2014
7:27am ANIMAL
A caller from Russet Lane reported that a deer with a broken leg was in his yard.  The Police responded.  The deer was gone upon arrival.

10:53am COMPLAINT
A caller from Billadell Road reported that the way the snow was plowed at the end of the road made it difficult to see the oncoming traffic.  The Police responded.  The snow bank was very high.  The Highway Department responded.

8:45pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from Pine Ridge Road reported that a station wagon was in the middle of the road.  No one was around.  The Police responded.  The owner appeared a short time later.  The car had rolled down the driveway.  The car was moved.

11:34pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller on Old Bolton Road reported that he/she heard three gunshots.  The Police responded to check the area.  Nothing was found.

Sunday November 30, 2014
11:34am SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller on Maple Street near the Bolton line reported hearing gunshots.  The Police responded. The shots were coming from the Riverside Gun Club.

2:29pm COMPLAINT
A caller from Taylor Road reported that three ATV’s were riding a steep hill behind her home.  The Police responded.

7:08pm DISTURBANCE
A caller from Warren Road reported that her neighbor was jumping and stomping around.  The Police responded.  All were advised.
