The Nashoba School Committee is weathering the sudden resignation of two of its members last Friday, with towns making plans to bring in their replacements within a month.
Nancy Federspeil of Bolton, along with Julie Fay of Lancaster, separately resigned from the SC on Friday, June 12. Each emailed a resignation note to fellow SC members, Nashoba Superintendent Michael Wood, and their respective town administrators.

The Nashoba Regional High School baseball team already won the Mid-Wach B title outright with a 9-1 league record this season, but after falling in consecutive games, the team was looking to get back in the win column against Holy Name.

The Nashoba Regional boys’ lacrosse team may not be going to the postseason but that didn’t stop the team from ending the 2015 spring season on a positive note Thursday evening.
The Chieftains honored their seniors the best way possible; with a victory in the final game of their high school careers notching an 8-6 triumph over visiting Shepherd Hill Regional.
Nashoba wraps up the campaign with an 8-10 overall record. The win also gives the Chieftains a modest two-game win streak to end the year.
